This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made from Legacy Garage Door Depot through https://legacygaragedepot.com.

1) Return eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below. All returns must be approved before items are sent back.

You must contact us before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

2) Acceptable condition

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled, or
  • Experiencing a verified malfunction or technical issue

Items must include all original parts, components, and packaging unless otherwise approved.

3) Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Used or installed parts
  • Items missing original packaging or components
  • Special-order or clearance items
  • Items returned without prior authorization

4) How to start a return

To request a return or exchange, contact us at our support email with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide instructions once your request is reviewed.

5) Return methods

Approved returns may be completed by:

  • Mail-in return, or
  • In-store return at our Sacramento or Santa Clara locations

6) Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are handled case by case and are typically the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

7) Damaged or incorrect items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you must notify us within 48–72 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in denial of the return.

8) Exchanges

Exchanges are available for eligible items, subject to inventory availability. Exchange approvals are handled on a case-by-case basis.

9) Refunds

Refunds are issued case by case after the returned item is inspected and approved.

Approved refunds may be issued to:

  • The original payment method, or
  • Another method at our discretion

Refund processing times may vary depending on the item, return method, and payment provider.

10) Inspection and approval

All returned items are subject to inspection. We reserve the right to deny refunds or exchanges if items do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
