This Flag Bracket is the bracket that joins the top of the vertical track to the horizontal track and the door jamb. The flag bracket mounts at the top of each vertical track. It ties the vertical track, the horizontal track and the jamb together so the tracks stay aligned and square.

On some doors the torsion spring end bearing mounts to the flag bracket. If yours does, the springs must be unwound before removing it.

One per side. Replace the damaged one, or both if they are bent or rusted.
